Sioux Falls City Council voted to approve hyperscale data center site into city limits

A proposed hyperscale data center moved another step forward last night, as the Sioux Falls City Council voted to annex the site into city limits. That action came after the company behind the project promised taxpayers won’t have to foot any of the bill for connecting electrical power to the site. The location is near Rice Street and Veterans parkway.
