Sioux Falls Zoo and Aquarium break ground on a new butterfly garden

The Sioux Falls Zoo and Aquarium breaks ground on a new butterfly garden at the Great Plains Zoo this afternoon.

 It’s the first phase of a plan to combine the zoo and Butterfly House and Aquarium into one campus.

Zoo officials have also announced the name of a new Snow Leopard Cub. A Naming contest ended over the weekend and the runaway favorite name was Asha (AH-shah).
