Insurance costs could skyrocket when the Affordable Care Act tax credits expire

A new report warns that health insurance costs could skyrocket if Congress lets key Affordable Care Act tax credits expire. The non-partisan Center on Budget and Policy Priorities says average out-of-pocket premiums would more than double, rising by about a thousand dollars a year. Open enrollment for Affordable Care Act plans starts Saturday and runs through January 15th.
