Sioux Falls, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls police say a 66-year-old local man is the victim of an online fraud that has cost him 67-thousand dollars. The victim has cancer and was in contact with a woman on a messaging app. Police Information Officer, Sgt. Aaron Benson says the woman told the victim he would be receiving a credit card loaded with three million dollars to help him with his medical expenses. Upon interviewing the victim, police discovered that he had been corresponding with the woman since May and had sent over 60-thousand dollars to her.
