FREEMAN, SD (KELO.com) — Freeman residents are waiting for a judge’s decision they hope will improve the odor of their town. There’s an ongoing legal battle over Dakota Protein Solutions’ plant near Freeman. Residents say smell from the plant is so bad it forces children at a nearby school to have recess indoors. A judge is expected to make a ruling on the plant soon.
