LAKE ENEMY SWIM, SD (KELO.com) — Nearly 70 kids at a weeklong camp with cops. Officers from the Sioux Falls Police Department, Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office, Highway Patrol and Game, Fish & Parks are fresh off their fifth year of Camp POSTCARD – Police Officers Striving to Create and Reinforce Dreams. Lt. Andrew Siebenborn says it’s a meaningful experience for the campers and the officers. “These little wins, these little relationships that we’re able to make with these young men and women – I think it’s incredible. There are a lot of places that talk about investing in youth from law enforcement. Humbly, I say the Sioux Falls Police Department not only talks the talk, but we walk the walk.” The camp is held and Lake Enemy Swim near Waubay. It focuses on four core pillars – Attitude, Integrity, Grit and Purpose.
