Oct 20 (Reuters) – A storm-force non-tropical low pressure area located a few hundred miles off the North Carolina has a 40% chance of developing into a cyclone within the next 48 hours, the US National Hurricane Center said in an advisory on Tuesday.
The low could develop some organized deep convection and gradually lose its frontal features while it moves slowly north north-eastward over the Gulf Stream, NHC added.
