SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The weekend wasn’t as busy as usual, but the Sioux Falls Police still had a few cases to consider.
Here are highlights from Monday’s police briefing.
AFTER A PAUSE, MORE CATALYTIC CONVERTER THEFTS
After a pause, Sioux Falls Police again report thefts of catalytic converters.
They say they were taken last week and last weekend from four locations.
All the vehicles were outside.
The thefts were in the 1400 and 1900 blocks of South Marion Road;
Near 58th Street and Rolling Green Avenue.
And the 5000 block of West Equestrians.
Police don’t have any suspects yet.
SHOTS FIRED, NO ONE HURT
Sioux Falls Police responded to shots fired in the air early Saturday morning.
They received reports of three or four shots during a party near 6th and French Ave.
Police say no one was injured and there was no damage.
Authorities are looking for the shooter.
CAN’T HAVE A GUN OR SHELL CASINGS
Sioux Falls Police discovered someone had 30 shell casings and bullets in a car this weekend.
The owner was not supposed to have a gun.
The police found no weapon.
The authorities found the car with the casings and bullets in the 600 block of West Bennett.
