Dear Readers and Listeners:
April 1st–April Fools’ Day–is a fun day for pranks and the propagation of actual, knowing fake news.
In fact, one of our staff made “cake balls” with Brussels sprouts in the middle instead of cake. They looked good on the outside, not so tasty on the inside.
And some news organizations and broadcast outlets will have prank stories today, their own version of “cake balls.”
But not us.
When you read or hear something on KELO.com or KELO Radio, we want you to know it is factual, to the best of our ability.
If we are wrong, we’ll correct our or our news partners’ mistakes.
Credibility is more important than ever, more so on April Fools Day.
Even if biting into a fake “cake ball” is kind of fun. We just don’t do it here on the news.
Thank you for reading and listening!
And don’t get pranked!
