TEA, SD (KELO.com) — An officer with the Tea Police Department is the ‘Ken Prorok Traffic Safety Officer of the Year’. Taylor White is a drug recognition expert, police service dog handler and field training officer. The award comes from the state’s office of highway safety. White has been instrumental in removing impaired drivers from roadways and a number of drug arrests with his K-9 unit.
