PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — The South Dakota Supreme Court upholds the conviction of a man accused of threatening the life of President Trump in 2020. Lucian Celestine pleaded guilty in November of 2024, but tried to appeal. He contacted the FBI in 2019 saying he was hearing voices telling him to kill the President. He was arrested while trying to buy a rifle from an undercover Brookings police officer.
