BROOKINGS, SD (KELO.com) — A 26-year old man is charged with making a false report of a shooting. Elijah Arias was driving his roommate’s vehicle near Brookings and fired a revolver out of a window into a ditch. One of the rounds struck the car, prompting him to fabricate a story that he had been fired upon. He was charged with a misdemeanor and released on bond.
