Election night voting tabulation changes should produce quicker results

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — You can expect quicker results on election night this year.  In the general election two years ago, results were delayed until the day after the election in Pennington, Lincoln and Minnehaha Counties.  Minnehaha County Auditor Leah Anderson says she worked on a new law that makes way for earlier tabulation of absentee ballots, which caused the delays.  She expects the absentee ballots to be tabulated by the end of election night this year.
