PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — The company that sponsored a controversial abortion ad campaign earlier this year in South Dakota is suing the state. Mayday Health and Watertown Attorney Nancy Turbak Berry filed the suit asking a federal judge to issue an injunction to stop enforcement of the law, which restricts the delivery of abortion medication in the state. Jackley says “The U.S. Supreme Court has made it clear that States have the right to protect life. As with Mayday’s previous unsuccessful lawsuit, I will defend innocent life.”
