MINNEHAHA COUNTY, SD (KELO.com) — Help is on the way for developers looking for enough water to supply new business between Sioux Falls and Dell Rapids, but not without a price. The Minnehaha Community Water Corporation is partnering with the neighboring Big Sioux Community Water System to the north on a 170-million dollar expansion project. It will generate eight million gallons of water per day starting this fall. On the downside, water bills are expected to jump to $135/month for the average household.
