Sept 8 (Reuters) – The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Tuesday named four senior leaders at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, including the heads of its drug center and vaccines and biologics unit.
HHS said Michael Davis and Karim Mikhail, who were serving as acting heads of the units, will take over as directors of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research and the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, respectively.
The agency also named Jared Seehafer as its first deputy commissioner for technology and artificial intelligence and Bret Koplow as director of the Center for Tobacco Products.
