SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – The National Institutes of Health has awarded $11 million to South Dakota for research over the next five years.
The grant will be utilized through a state-wide partnership involving Avera Research Institute, SDSU and the USD Sanford School of Medicine.
It will focus on the needs of rural and under-served populations in the state.
