SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – Sioux Falls police are investigating two shooting incidents – one of which left a man dead.
48-year old Derrick Franklin was found unresponsive in the 1000 Block of East 8th Street Staturday night.
He had been shot twice.
Police say they have suspects, but no arrests have been made yet.
The other incident happened just after midnight yesterday morning.
It started with an argument in an apartment involving two women, two men wearing ski masks and the victim.
The victim was shot in the arm and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police found the suspects’ vehicle a short time later and arrested 18-year-old Nevin Huapapi.
