Two Highway Patrol Officers Almost Struck by Lightning

PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) –Two South Dakota Highway Patrol troopers are going viral after nearly being hit by lightning.

The lightning strike was captured on body camera footage just feet away from the pair.

A post on the South Dakota Highway Patrol Facebook page says the troopers were searching for a wanted man when the bolt struck.

They said that no one was injured by the strike.
