Literacy Summit focuses on Science of Reading curriculum

MITCHELL, SD (KELO.com) — A thousand educators are gathered in Mitchell for the State Education Department’s Literacy Summit.  The state adopted curriculum known as the science of reading, which has helped improve reading skills in other states.  The Summit is designed to build enthusiasm about literacy.
