DELL RAPIDS, SD (KELO.com) — Plans for a new Avera Clinic and Hospital near Dell Rapids are moving forward, in spite of opposition from nearby residents. Avera’s plan won rezoning approval during a joint meeting of the Minnehaha County Commission and the Dell Rapids City Council Tuesday. Residents of a nearby residential development question the location, saying costs and plans need to be completed. Officials say a conditional use permit will also be needed for the project to move forward.
