UNDATED (KELO.com) — They’re calling it a ‘green drought’. Southern South Dakota is short on moisture, even though crops look healthy. They look healthy, but SDSU Extension Field Specialist Heather Gessner says there isn’t enough moisture to generate strong crop production. The Extension Service is meeting with farmers across the state to show them options to cut their losses.
