New case of measles reported in Brookings

PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota Health Department officials say a child in Brookings has been diagnosed with measles.  It was the eighth case detected in South Dakota this year, the first since late February.  Five cases involved children.  All of the cases have been detected in the eastern part of the state.
