SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – South Dakota organizations fighting veteran homelessness are receiving two-point-nine-million dollars in grants.
The Department of Veterans Affairs is providing the awards to prevent evictions and help veterans find housing for their families.
A spokesperson for the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System says the grants will strengthen their partnerships with community organizations and help them reach more veterans.
