RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO.com) – The man accused of killing Moody County Chief Deputy Ken Prorok in 2024 will be back in court tomorrow.
Joseph Hoek faces first degree murder and aggravated assault charges for allegedly hitting Prorok with his car during a police chase, as Prorok placed tire spikes on the highway.
The trial has been delayed multiple times in a dispute over Hoek’s mental state.
It’s tentatively scheduled for a year from now in Pennington County.
